Nudity for your toes

Why you should give your feet more air and space

Nudity feels really nice! Right? Well, at least on our feet, it's really good for all of us from time to time. Everyone knows the feeling when you come home in tight shoes after a long day and your feet continue to hurt for a while. But did you know that wearing tight shoes can have negative effects on your health, even in the long term?

Air is essential for healthy feet. Having your feet trapped in tight and impervious shoes can lead to fungal infections, blisters, and unpleasant odors. Breathable materials like leather and mesh can help keep feet dry and healthy. Shoes with removable insoles also work well, as they can be easily washed or replaced with special insoles to control moisture.

The space that the feet have in the shoe is also very important. Pinching toes can lead to problems like hammer toes, hallux valgus, and ingrown toenails. Shoes that are too tight can also cause pain and discomfort in the heel, midfoot, and ball of the foot. Shoes with a wide toe box and adequate toe room can prevent these problems.

It is also important to consider the size and shape of the feet when buying shoes. Many people have feet of different sizes and it is important to choose shoes that fit both feet properly. The shape of the feet can also change over time, so it's important to be aware of these changes. Check out our instructions on how to measure the length and width of your feet.

We spend a lot of time worrying about how we look good, but we should also care about feeling good. So, next time you're shopping for shoes, remember that your feet need enough air and space to stay healthy and happy.

With the casual slides by Fünve it's not an "either/or" decision, but a case of "both and as well"! They offer plenty of space for toes and heels, score with an anatomical footbed and also look impeccible. Check out Fünve slides
